Cookie Policy

Last updated: January 2025

This Cookie Policy explains how YndigoBlue ("we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on yndigoblue.com (the "Site").

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website when you visit it. They are widely used to make websites work correctly and to provide information to the site's owners. Cookies set by us are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by other parties are called third-party cookies.

Cookies We Use

We use a small number of cookies, all of which are strictly necessary for the Site to function correctly. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

Cookie Name Type Duration Purpose
.AspNetCore.Cookies Authentication Session / persistent Maintains your login session. Set when you sign in and removed when you sign out or your session expires. Without this cookie you cannot remain signed in to your account.
.AspNetCore.Antiforgery.* Security Session A security token used to protect forms against Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks. Generated automatically on each page that contains a form and discarded at the end of your browser session.
TempData (session) Functional Single request Used to pass short-lived status messages between pages (for example, "Settings saved successfully"). The data is read once and immediately discarded.

Third-Party Services

Some pages load resources from third-party services that may set their own cookies or storage entries:

  • Stripe — payment pages load the Stripe.js library (js.stripe.com). Stripe may set cookies to detect fraud and support secure payment flows. These are strictly necessary for payment processing. See Stripe's Cookie Policy.
  • Google Fonts — the Site loads the Lato typeface from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). Google may log the request. No advertising or tracking cookies are set by this request. See Google Fonts privacy FAQ.
  • jsDelivr CDN — Prism.js syntax highlighting is loaded from cdn.jsdelivr.net. jsDelivr does not set tracking cookies. See jsDelivr's privacy policy.

Managing Cookies

Because all cookies we set are strictly necessary for the Site to function, we do not present a cookie consent banner. Blocking or deleting these cookies will prevent the Site from working correctly — in particular, you will not be able to sign in.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Refer to your browser's help documentation for instructions:

California Residents

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have the right to know what personal information is collected via cookies and how it is used. We do not sell cookie-derived information to third parties. For more information about your California privacy rights, please see our Privacy Policy.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy if we change the cookies we use. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
